The printer offers an XY resolution up to 150um and claims to be around 500 times faster than similarly priced FDM machines.ĭesigned for bigger parts in a desktop capacity, the SLASH PRO features double the build volume of the SLASH z-axis and is capable of producing a full size adult outer-sole in under an hour. The SLASH OL - or SLASH Online - is aimed at the lower end of the market, priced below $1,000 and equipped with the same UDP technology. Equipped with uni-directional peel (UDP) technology, which minimises the peel time of conventional layered SLA process, it is capable of creating six full-arch dental models in less than five minutes.

SLASH+ builds on the success of the original SLASH machine aimed at prosumers, hobbyists, educators and artists. UNIZ will debut three desktop 3D printers and two industrial 3D printers featuring this new process including the SLASH+, SLASH OL, SLASH PRO, zSLTV15 and zSLTV23, on booth #9110 in the North Hall. Stereolithography 3D printer manufacturer, UNIZ is to launch five new machines and a new 3D printing technology at CES 2018.įollowing the debut of its speedy, Kickstarter-funded, SLASH, LCD-SLA 3D Printer at CES 2016, the San Diego headquartered company will introduce its new uni-directional peel (UDP) technology at the Las Vegas event on January 9th. I'll post some photos of the models I've been printing in the comments below. The SLASH OL will be one of five new 3D printers from UNIZ at CES 2018. I'm also happy to answer questions for anyone interested in it. This is why I'm hoping to start a discussion with other people that have this printer, like using other inks, build tray swapping, model tips etc. I was impressed by the build quality of the printer, and with the software, but the customer service to date has been non-existent (3 emails to their service line, zero response). Anyone on the Kickstarter get theirs yet? This printer was a Kickstarter, and there seems to have been some fuss around whether or not Uniz would ever deliver, which is why I was surprised to find I could buy it off the shelf from robotshop. I did a lot of research before settling on this printer, I knew I wanted a resin printer next (after 3 FDM makerbots) and I knew I wanted DLP because it's so much faster than laser. There is no difference in time printing one model or multiple models.

It's a DLP resin printer, so it exposes an entire slice at once. I've run through a 500ml bottle of ink already.

I just bought a Uniz 3d Slash from robotshop last month.
